Georgia Star Tight End and Possible Bengals Target Brock Bowers Declares for 2024

CINCINNATI — Georgia tight end Brock Bowers officially declared for the 2024 NFL Draft on Tuesday. The 21-year-old is considered the best tight end in the country.

Bowers finished with 175 catches for 2,538 yards and 26 touchdowns in three seasons for the Bulldogs. He also ran for 193 yards and five more scores.

Tight end was a major talking point for the Bengals last offseason. That will continue to be the case with Drew Sample, Tanner Hudson, Irv Smith Jr. and Mitch Wilcox scheduled to hit free agency.

In the event that the Bengals are selected with the 13th overall pick in the 2024 NFL Draft, Bowers may be a viable target for them. There is one game to be played on their 16th selection at the moment.
