Good news: as bolton Wanderers favorite emerge

For the second consecutive month, Ian Evatt has been named Sky Bet League One Manager of the Month for November.

The Wanderers’ manager has won two awards in a row after leading the team to three wins in their last four league games and a draw against promotion rivals Oxford to end the month—all without giving up a goal in League One.

Evatt won the monthly prize and the EFL accolade for the fifth time, defeating a shortlist that included Paul Warne of Derby County, Steve Evans of Stevenage, and Jon Brady of Northampton Town.

Evatt deserves this award because the set of results propelled Wanderers into the automatic spots and, for a spell in November, to the top of Sky Bet League One.

Evatt remarked, “It’s wonderful to receive individual awards, but it shows the good work that the team is doing.”

“The players went out there and executed our plans to perfection, and the wider coaching staff has put in a lot of hours to help me prepare the players.”

“It’s fantastic when we pull everything together, and we did that against Exeter (winning 7-0). It takes a lot of teamwork, but we can do that now.

“I’m really proud of the players because their performances have allowed me to receive awards like this.”
