Savage makes his return to the Hornets after recently penning a professional deal at the Mariners, but most recently featured on loan for Blyth Spartans.
He made three appearances for Hebburn Town last during the 2023/24 season.
On the signing of Savage, Hornets manager Daniel Moore said: “Dan is a player we have had before and always thought highly of which is why he was involved with our first team.
“He’s gone on into full-time football and you can see he has developed so much in a short space of time and I’m excited to have him back.”
Joining him at the Hebburn Sports Ground for the remainder of the season is Joao Gomes.
The 21-year-old Portugal-born attacker made his debut for South Shields during the 2022/23 campaign, where he scored four times in 23 appearances as the Mariners went on to secure the NPL Premier Division title.
Like his counterpart, Gomes turned out on loan for Blyth Spartans, featuring 16 appearances and scoring three goals.
Hebburn Town manager Daniel Moore said: “Joao is a very exciting player and is someone that we have been aware of and kept an eye on since last year.
“Same as Dan, he has developed so much being in full-time football and his performances this season at our level have been very good. I think in how we want to play attacking teams, he’s a great addition.”
The duo will go into contention to make their Hebburn Town debut in their next fixture at home to FC United of Manchester in the NPL this Saturday.
