Huddersfield Town bolstered their attacking options earlier in the January transfer window, bringing in Bojan Radulovic Finnish champions HJK for an undisclosed fee
Darren Moore insists that new Huddersfield Town signing Bojan Radulovic’s injury is “not a major issue at all” after the striker had to sit out Saturday’s 1-1 draw against Plymouth Argyle.
The Terriers strengthened their attacking ranks early in the window with the addition of Radulovic from Finnish champions HJK for an undisclosed fee, with the forward making his Town debut at Manchester City in the FA Cup.
The new recruit had been working towards making his league debut against the Pilgrims on Saturday, but Moore revealed in the lead up to the game that the striker was to undergo a late fitness test after sustaining an issue in training.

Due to a groyne ailment, the 24-year-old was left out of the starting lineup over the weekend. The Terriers manager followed the medical team’s recommendation that playing the striker would be “high risk.”
Choosing to be cautious and leave Radulovic out of the squad, Moore acknowledged that the new addition is a “important part” of his plans for the rest of the season and beyond.
After the match, Town’s manager discussed the Serbian forward’s injury with HTTV, saying, “It’s not a major issue at all, it’s more of a precautionary [measure].”
“With the complaints from yesterday and today, we just couldn’t take the chance with him. It’s not his fault; it’s just one of those things where we think he just struck a ball on his own, and it probably just caught something minute really.”
“With Bojan, it’s not just about one game; he’s a really important part of our team from now until the end of the season.
“The medical staff advised us that given his discomfort, playing him would be extremely risky, so we made the decision as a group.
Jonathan Hogg, the captain of the Terriers, returned to the starting lineup for the Saturday draw after missing the matches against Manchester City and Leicester City due to illness.
Ben Jackson has now played back-to-back 90 minutes after the wing-back missed three games due to illness. David Kasumu has also rejoined the team after missing last weekend’s FA Cup match due to a knee injury.
Regarding Hogg and Jackson, Moore stated: “They’re obviously very important, and they’ll get stronger because they both had a medical episode and were taking antibiotics, so it was credit to those two that they were able to recover and perform for ninety minutes today.
