Willie Peters, the head coach of HULL KR, has denied rumours that Jordan Abdull is working out with the Super League team.
After being released by Hull FC last month without playing a game, Abdull, who departed the Robins halfway through the 2024 season to sign a loan deal with Catalans Dragons, is currently without a team.
Growing up at the Black and Whites, the 29-year-old made 54 appearances for Hull FC during his first stint, which lasted from 2014 to 2018.
Abdull spent a year with the London Broncos before joining Rovers for 2020. During the five seasons, the halfback made 55 appearances.

The 29-year-old has been said to be training with the Robins in recent weeks, but Peters has thrown cold water on that rumour.
Peters told BBC Radio Humberside, “That’s not true.” Jordan and I actually reconnected as friends last week.
Jordan, whom I have trained, has not been present at the club. He has a lot to give, so perhaps he’ll acquire a club soon.
He hasn’t been training with us, though.
Tyrone May and Mikey Lewis are currently in the KR halves, while Danny Richardson, a fellow halfback, is on loan at Huddersfield Giants for two weeks.
