Ian Evatt confirms to Aaron Collins transfer talk’

Evatt has first confirmed that the club have had a £600,000 bid for Bristol Rovers striker Aaron Collins rejected.

The Trotters seem keen to add to their forward line before the deadline on February 1st, with Blackburn Rovers striker Niall Ennis another player the club have been in talks about signing

Speaking to The Bolton News, Evatt confirmed that Bolton have seen a bid rejected for Collins, and he then went on to say they are weighing up their next move.

Evatt said: “We like both players. We have paid an interest in both of them as well.

“We made an offer last week to Bristol Rovers (for Collins), which we considered to be a pretty good one, and it was rejected. We are now thinking about what we do next.

“That could be another offer for Aaron but equally we could change tack and go down the loan route again. We are comfortable with where we are, in a good place, and whoever we bring in we are full of confidence that we will get the job done.”
