The 26-year-old was attacked inside Kilmarnock Sheriff Court, shortly after pleading guilty to child sex offences.
A paedophile who had admitted to collecting lewd pictures of children was allegedly beaten inside a courthouse.
Shortly after leaving one of the Kilmarnock Sheriff Court’s courtrooms, Blair Mullen was allegedly attacked. He had entered the dock at Kilmarnock, Ayrshire, court to enter a guilty plea about pictures of child abuse.
The 26-year-old acknowledged owning images of youngsters as young as six being molested sexually by adult guys. The crimes were carried out at his residence in February and March of 2022.
He entered a guilty plea to two charges under Section 52 of the Civic Government (Scotland) Act 1982: downloading pictures of child abuse and having the prohibited material in his possession.
