Following their 1-0 victory over Sunderland the previous time out, where Anthony Patterson’s own goal was sufficient to secure a crucial three points, Hull City will return to action on Wednesday night when they travel to Wales to play Cardiff City.
Lincoln City of League One has received disappointing news ahead of their forthcoming games against Burton Albion, Leyton Orient, and Mansfield Town. The Imps have had a mixed season thus far, enjoying an impressive start before a poor run of form dropped them down the table. However, their luck has taken another hit after their 1-1 draw with Cambridge United last time out.

Lincoln brought on Joe Gardner, an attacking midfielder/forward who had joined on loan from Premier League team Nottingham Forest, to try to boost the team’s attacking output in a slow game where neither team could create many genuine opportunities. However, his debut was short-lived as he was sent off with a straight red card after just four minutes for a challenge on an opposition player in front of the Cambridge bench. Manager Michael Skubala agreed that the card was harsh.
