Lions star sends clear message to Eagles after their ……

The Detroit Lions dominated the NFC for nearly the whole 2024 regular season. They managed to put together a 15-2 record and secure the top spot in the conference for the playoffs thanks to a potent offence. When the playoffs arrived, they quickly lost their standing as the NFC’s top team after losing to the Commanders at home in their first game. The Philadelphia Eagles have now definitely secured the throne after their resounding victories in the Super Bowl and NFC Championship Game and Super Bowl.

Amon-Ra St. Brown is eager for the Lions to have a shot to reclaim the conference’s top ranking. St. Brown stated in the February 12 episode of the “St. Brown Podcast” that he wants to know what would have happened if the Lions had been healthy during the playoffs by having them play the Eagles in the NFL’s 2025 season opener. St. Brown responded, “You would see with our healthy defence how that (expletive) operates.” The Lions seem like a great choice for the season-opening game when you consider the 2025 Eagles opponent list.

Next season, the Eagles will host three more playoff opponents, but none of them will draw as much attention as this first meeting between the two teams since Week 1 of 2022. On board is one of the Lions’ top stars. When the Eagles hear this comment, they will undoubtedly agree. The prospect of an NFC Championship Game preview during the season opener would be adored by fans.
