Between 5pm and 6pm, the man was approached from behind and assaulted on Welbeck Street.
Following a violent attack in Kilmarnock on Thursday, March 21, a 36-year-old man is the subject of a detective appeal for information.
The man was attacked and approached from behind on Welbeck Street between 5 and 6 o’clock in the evening.
His health, according to hospital workers at Queen Elizabeth University Hospital, is serious but stable after being brought there.
“Enquiries are continuing to establish the exact circumstances surrounding the incident and gather more information to identify the person responsible for this attack,” stated Detective Sergeant Graham Cuthill.
We are requesting that anyone who was near Welbeck Street between the specified hours get in touch with us.
