Man shot dead during road rage situation on Lakeland Georgia Highway

WMC, Memphis, Tennessee— On Monday morning, a man was shot during a road rage incident on Bill Morris Parkway.

Around two in the morning, Memphis Police responded to a shooting on Highway 385.

When authorities got on the scene, they found a man shot inside a white Ford Taurus crashed out on the left shoulder.

After returning to the scene, a witness informed police that the shot man had unintentionally merged into the centre lane.

The witness reported to the police that they heard gunshots followed by a horn blowing.

The witness further reported to the police that the man’s car was shot at by a driver in a grey sedan.


The witness fled to safety after calling the police out of fear for their lives.

The witness was unharmed, however the man who was shot was transported to Regional One Hospital in critical condition.

Around 2:30 a.m., MPD issued a traffic alert that closed lanes until 6:36 a.m.
