Motorcycle rider dies following fatal collision with car in Harrogate

North Yorkshire Police is appealing for witnesses and dashcam footage following a fatal collision near Harrogate yesterday.

The collision, which included a blue BMW 1200 motorcycle and a grey BMW 116D automobile, happened on Greenhow Hill Road in Thruscross on Wednesday, 19 June, at approximately 6:40 p.m.

A 59-year-old motorcycle rider has died following a collision with a car on Greenhow Hill Road near Harrogate
Regretfully, the 59-year-old man who was riding the motorbike was declared dead at the site.
After receiving treatment at a hospital, the woman in her 30s who was driving the car was allowed to go.
