The Reds scored late on to earn a point in Shropshire after falling behind inside the opening ten minutes.
Mael de Gevigney was brought down in the area in added time, with Herbie Kane keeping his composure to convert the spot-kick late on in front of the travelling Barnsley supporters.
Collins expressed his concern at conceding the first goal in the affair but praised his side’s willingness to fight until the very end.
“The negatives first of all, we can’t concede as early as we do,” began our gaffer. “We’ve given ourselves a mountain to climb and then we created more than enough chances to win that game. On that basis, it’s two points dropped
“On the other hand, performance-wise, for large parts we were excellent. We keep going right until the very end and that’s a big trait for this team to have. We’ve picked up a point at a tough place, every away game is tough.”
