Norwich city has Found David Wagner Replacement.

Pink Un made known this week that the Canaries board met on Monday following City’s crushing 3-1 loss to Blackburn Rovers at home over the weekend. Ben Knapper, the upcoming sporting director, was reportedly present during these discussions.

However, during the process, it was decided that Wagner would be permitted to lead the team this Saturday when the Norfolk-based team plays Cardiff City in Wales. This will give the management team some time to find the ideal replacement during the international break.

According to a report published today by Team Talk, Frank Lampard will be the next person to take charge at Carrow Road by the Norwich City board. The legend from England is reportedly very highly regarded as a Wagner replacement.

The 45-year-old took over as Everton’s manager at the beginning of the previous season, but he was relieved of his responsibilities halfway through, as the Toffees found themselves uncomfortable in the relegation zone. Lampard did not, however, lose his job for very long.

Following his dismissal from Chelsea, the iconic figure returned to the supporters at Stamford Bridge as head coach, albeit in an acting role. Sadly, Lampard was unable to improve the team’s performance, and as a result, the Blues only had a pitiful 9.1% winning percentage.

Although Lampard’s stints in the dugout have not been great lately, in his first season as a professional manager in 2019 he managed to lead Derby County to the playoff final.

Lampard could make a wise choice in doing this. After several terrible stints recently, it is very unlikely that he will land a position in the Premier League, but leading a team back to the top division may be his best option.

However, given Lampard’s dismal, to put it mildly, recent managerial record, Norwich City supporters will undoubtedly be a little concerned.
