Police arrest suspect on alleged sex assault on 13 year old girl#

The police have concluded their investigation into the reported sex assault that occurred at Dens Park during a confrontation with the Rangers.

It was suspected that a 13-year-old girl had been sexually assaulted on November 1 during Dundee’s game against Glasgow.

The Dens Park team acknowledged that during the Scottish Premiership match, there was an incident in the Bob Shankly stand.

The away support was housed in the stand.

Even though the police claim that their investigations are finished, they are still pleading with witnesses to come forward.

“A thorough investigation was carried out following a report of sexual assault which happened at Dens Park in Dundee on Wednesday, 1 November 2023,” a Police Scotland spokesperson stated.

“Although all inquiries have been answered, we kindly ask that anyone with more information call us at 101.”

The exciting game, which Rangers won 5-0, was delayed for forty-five minutes because the bus carrying the Glasgow team got stuck in traffic crossing the Tay Road Bridge.

A number of flares were lit from the stands, forcing referee Kevin Clancy to halt play for eighteen minutes.
