Premier League starlet reveals why he turned down other Bids for Huddersfield….

According to Myles Peart-Harris, Pompey is larger than the majority of Championship clubs.

Due to these and outstanding matters in the third division, the Premier League sensation declined offers from higher echelons to relocate to Fratton Park.

This week, Pompey signed their “number one” January attacking addition when they signed Peart-Harris, who will play the entire season on loan from Brentford.

The 21-year-old was reportedly coveted by QPR and Sheffield Wednesday, as well as Huddersfield.

Though he is joining a team that he feels is playing well below their rightful level in the English football hierarchy, Peart-Harris thought that PO4 was the right fit for him.

The Londoner gained League One experience as well last season, scoring six goals against a severely underperforming Forest Green team.

At the other end of the third layer, he wants to gather cutlery in order to put those memories to rest.

Peart-Harris stated: “Championship clubs expressed interest.”

For me personally, I wasn’t quite able to accomplish my goals while in League One last year.

Now that I’m here and Portsmouth is winning the league, I feel like I can finally settle in and advance my career.

It’s important to keep in mind that Portsmouth is a major Premier League team. They are larger than most of the teams currently competing in the Championship.

“It’s unfortunate that we are in this situation, but we must return to our rightful place.”

Peart-Harris, a former Chelsea youth player, explained how Pompey was immediately drawn to the idea of reuniting with his former coach, Jon Harley, at Fratton Park.

“Jon and I have a really good relationship,” he continued. He and I collaborated on the under-23 team for a few seasons.

‘We started texting as soon as we found out I was heading here.

When we first met, there was a smile on both of our faces, so working with him is positive.

It’s nice to have him here for me since he understands what to anticipate from me and what I can provide to the team. Hopefully, the rest of the staff feels the same way.

“I’ve been told by the gaffer how he wants me to play and work within the system.”

We also discussed how he has played alongside a few teammates, so that connects the two. I can’t wait to start working here.
