The Detroit Lions’ supporters are already making their presence known as they get ready to play the Indianapolis Colts at Lucas Oil Stadium on Sunday. This season, Lions fans have made the most of their travels, converting numerous away games into home-field advantages. Saturday night in Indianapolis was no different.
In a widely shared video, a sizable contingent of Lions supporters stormed a neighbourhood pub in Indianapolis and began fervently singing “Forward Down the Field,” the team’s fight song, in unison. The intensity with which Detroit’s fan base is supporting their team as they look to go unbeaten on the road and improve to 10-1 on the season is evident from the sight of these devoted supporters yelling their hearts out the night before the game.
If this picture is any indication, the Lions will feel completely at home in Indianapolis on Sunday afternoon. The atmosphere was electrifying. They are getting closer to their ultimate objective of winning a Super Bowl championship in Detroit with each victory. GO, LIONS!
