Stockport fight for Reading Midfielder that attract attention from Derby county

According to nationwide reports, League Two leaders Stockport County has emerged as the most recent team mentioned in connection with a move for Reading midfielder .Charlie Savage

Earlier in the week, it was revealed that Derby County, the team that Robbie’s father played for five years, was eager to bring the Wales international to Pride Park.

The 20-year-old has not started a game in more than two months and has played less than 30 minutes in each of the previous four games.

Given the club’s financial difficulties, EFL rivals will undoubtedly be snooping around now that the January window has opened in an attempt to find a better deal.

For the former Manchester United prospect, moving closer to home would mean playing for Stockport, who lead the fourth division by two points.

The team will, according to the club, be kept together for this window despite Ruben Selles’ team managing to move out of the relegation zone on Monday.

Due to the club’s embargo, no inflows are anticipated during this window of time and not until at least next year.
