Tragedy as biker dies after Holmfirth crash

Sadly, a rider who was hurt in a violent collision on Sunday afternoon in Holmbridge, near Holmfirth, has passed away.

A white Isuzu pickup truck and a black KTM motorcycle are said to have collided about 2:11 p.m. on Saturday, September 15, near the intersection of Flush House Lane and Digley Royd Lane.

The fifty-year-old rider was taken to the hospital by ambulance after suffering injuries that might have been fatal. Mondahy, September 16, sadly died away in the hospital this morning.
Following her detention in relation to the collision, a 38-year-old woman was freed on bond.

“The motorcyclist who was involved in a collision in Holmbridge on Sunday afternoon has died,” a West Yorkshire Police spokesperson said. The man, who was in his 50s, died away yesterday morning.”

West Yorkshire Police are still urging anyone with dashcam footage or anyone who may have seen the collision to come forward.

“Anyone who may have witnessed the collision, has video footage of it, or the circumstances leading up to it is asked to contact the Major Collision Enquiry Team by calling 101 or going online and quoting reference 907 a police spokeswoman continued.
