Tragedy as Man dies in Claremorris crash in Louth

A collision in County Mayo has claimed the life of a man in his 30s.
Emergency personnel and Gardai responded to the scene of Monday night’s deadly collision in Claremorris.

At approximately 5:20 p.m., a car and a truck collided on the N17 at Corbally.

The car’s driver suffered fatal injuries.
There have been no reports of additional injuries.

In anticipation of a technical investigation by forensic investigators on Tuesday morning, the route was to be closed overnight.

Any witnesses to the crash are being urged to come forward by the Gardai.

Additionally, they appeal to any drivers who might have camera footage to share it.

Early on Sunday morning, a man lost his life in a traffic accident in County Louth.
The driver of one of the vehicles involved in the two-vehicle collision on the R166 at Annagassan, close to Dunleer, was a man in his 60s.

Around 8.50 a.m. on Sunday, two cars crashed, and the man was declared deceased at the scene.

After being taken to Mater Misericordiae University Hospital, the driver of the second vehicle, a woman in her 40s, is receiving treatment for severe injuries.
