West Ham must move quickly after Tottenham make a great deal

Spurs contacted Galatasaray on Kerem Akturkoglu’s availability, so West Ham will need to act fast if they hope to beat teams like Arsenal, Manchester United, and Tottenham to his signing, according to Aksam.

On October 16, the Turkish news source said that Arsenal and Tottenham were both expressing significant interest in seeing the player and requesting information from Galatasaray, if permission was granted.

Turkish site Fotomac [10 October] stated the club was evaluating the Turkish international as one of their main midfield targets, linking the Hammers to Akturkoglu.

In just eight Turkish Super Lig games this season, Akturkoglu has already recorded three goals and four assists. In the Champions League, he has two goals and two assists, including a goal in the thrilling 3-2 victory at Old Trafford on October 3.

He has demonstrated his abilities against one of the best sides in England, and if he can carry that form into consistent Premier League performances with West Ham, the squad will undoubtedly have a jewel on their hands.

A transfer would probably be difficult to complete given the competition from teams like Tottenham, Arsenal, and Manchester United, as well as West Ham’s depth in attack, which includes Jarrod Bowen, Mohammed Kudus, Lucas Paqueta, and others.

Tottenham seems to have taken the lead in the competition for Akturkcoglu’s signing because they have already established formal communication with the Turkish team and are planning to talk with the player.

Although West Ham would have to act swiftly to complete this transfer before their London rivals, it seems doubtful that the Hammers would beat Spurs in this one considering the strength of their roster and their recent success.

A player from West Ham got into a fight with his manager while on international duty, according to other reporting.
