In Gwynedd, a crash has blocked the A55, seriously delaying traffic.
Between intersections 11 and 12, emergency personnel are on the scene.
Just before 9:30 a.m., a Traffic Wales tweet read, “A55 eastbound between J11 Llandygai & J12 Tal y Bont.” Lane 1 was shut down. Officers on the road are present.”
The Inrix traffic monitoring system reported: “One lane closed and heavy traffic due to accident on A55 North Wales Motorway Eastbound from J11 A5 (Llandygai / Bethesda) to J12 Tal Y Bont Interchange.”
UPDATE: After being stopped for a while, traffic is now moving again. Lane 1 is still blocked.
