Major congestions after crash closed A55 in one direction

This morning, a lane closure was caused by a crash on the A55 in Flintshire.

This occurred immediately after the Caerwys junction (31) for eastbound traffic.

Since then, the lane has reopened, but the area is still congested.

At 10:08 a.m., Traffic Wales announced: “A lane two closure is in effect as a result of an earlier collision.

“Please give yourself more time to get there. There are cops on the scene.

It was updated at 10.24 a.m. “Lane open.” There is still traffic in the area.

A55 was closed.
The A55 has been closed due to a crash close to the Llanfairfechan roundabout.

According to Traffic Wales, there is an incident in the westbound lanes.

The Pen-y-Clip tunnel has been closed by traffic chiefs.

Second tunnel closed

Conwy tunnel now closed westbound while traffic officers remove the vehicles from the road. Updates to follow.
