Brad Dwyer re-joined Warrington Wolves prior to the 2024 season, with a two-year contract.
The 30-year-old Hooker made his debut in March 2012 after passing through the club’s Academy levels. He continued to play for the primrose and blue, making 88 games, scoring 16 tries, and was a member of the team that won the League Leaders’ Shield in 2016.
With over 250 career appearances, he offers a plethora of experience from his stints with other Super League clubs Leeds Rhinos and Hull FC before leaving at the end of the next season.
Heritage number 1100 belongs to him. Brad’s new sponsor, Artisan Drinks, will bring him back together with Chris Mann. A premium selection of mixers and tonic water are available at Artisan Drinks for the ideal drink combinations.
“I’m really excited to be re-joining the club,” Brad Dwyer declared upon his return to the team.
“I’m excited to be returning to the Northwest and being with my loved ones.” I’ve
been there a lot, and the club is full of people I recognise.
For me, it’s a very unique spot. I had a great six years playing professional rugby at Warrington, which gave me my first taste of professional life. It excites me much to be returning, hopefully a better player and a little older and wiser. I’m excited to demonstrate my growth both as a player as a person. I want to go into preseason with a bang and try my hardest.
Despite being among the signings made by the Warrington Wolves ahead of this new season, Dwyer has yet to feature for them in Super League because after his arrival the club signed former Wigan Warriors star Sam Powell.
Thus, Leigh Leopards have snapped him up on a two week loan to replace the injured Edwin Ipape. They lost the hooker to an MCL injury.
He is presently only on a two week deal yet the club want to keep him for longer. Leigh Head Coach Adrian Lam said on Sky Sports that the club want to keep him “long term.”
