Warrington family destroyed in fire as young one rescued and becomes homeless.

A WARRINGTON school is raking in thousands of dollars to help a student’s family, who lost everything in a fire that destroyed their house.

The JustGiving page for Broomfields Junior School in Appleton aims to raise £15,000 to assist the family whose children attend the school.

Brutal images depict how the house fire tore through it, leaving behind a damaged and burned roof and piles of debris.

According to the funding page, the Bridge Lane school reported that “children have lost all their belongings” and that the family is currently looking for a place to rent after the tragic incident, which is believed to have happened in early March.

The amount of donations received thus far has topped £1,700, but much work remains before the school meets its goal.

A terrible house fire completely destroyed the students’ home.
On the funding page, kind donors have left heartfelt notes. One of them said, “I hope that you get through this quickly and your family recovers from such an awful loss.”

The school has stated that any funds raised that the family does not need will be given to Warrington Youth Zone and the mental health organisation MIND.

“A family from Broomfields Junior School suffered a devastating fire in their family home at the beginning of March,” a spokesman for the school said.

The children are currently searching for a property to rent after losing all of their possessions.

“As the family already supports MIND and Warrington Youth Zone, any money raised that isn’t used by the family will be split between these organisations.”
