New update over Waterford school-boy death reveal.

A DISTRAUGHT woman who raised the alarm over the death of six-year-old Waterford school-boy Matthew Healy sobbed: “I think I’ve done something wrong.”

Sources yesterday revealed how gardaí engaged in a desperate hunt to locate the woman’s car – after she raised the alarm with a resident near the Carbally Community Centre shortly after midnight Thursday, but subsequently disappeared before help arrived.

Two Garda cars despatched to the resident’s worried 999 call to authorities subsequently located the woman’s car on a nearby laneway leading to Rathmoylan Cove – a secluded coastal inlet a few miles from Dunmore East.

The sad Matthew was found unconscious in the backseat of the car when the police found it, and the woman was standing outside of it.

Yesterday, an insider stated, “The call came in after midnight.”

“The woman showed up to the Carbally Community Centre in a distraught situation. She was calling for assistance while hammering on the doors of the nearby homes.

“When a local came to assist her, she told him something about the young child and then said, ‘I think I’ve done something wrong.'”

According to the source, the neighbour called the guards right away.

“After that, he went inside to put the phone back,” he added, “and when he came outside, she was gone.” Finding the car caused a panic at that point.

“The guards were moving in a straight line. I believe that Tramore was deployed after Dunmore East. and they set out to find her. The vehicle was discovered not far from Rathmoylan Cove.
