These Hornets could be the subject of transfer interest this summer for a variety of reasons.
After placing 15th in 2023/24, the Hornets will be looking for a significant improvement next season under new head coach Tom Cleverley.
However, whether or not the club gives their new manager the time he requires remains to be seen, as does the club’s transfer market strategy this summer in terms of incomings and outgoings.

Imran Louza, a Watford player, could draw a lot of transfer interest this summer.
While Louza has skill, Watford must admit that his move to Vicarage Road has not worked out, and it is debatable whether the Championship is the right venue for the Moroccan to play his football.
Louza has spent the second part of the season on loan, so it would be surprising if he is not available for sale this summer, and a team in Europe could be interested.
Sell. Louza has had long enough to prove himself at Vicarage Road now. Watford should cash in and hope to recoup as much as possible for the Moroccan midfielder.
As much as Watford would like to believe otherwise, Yaser Asprilla is another Hornets player who is expected to draw transfer interest this summer.
According to sources, huge names in Europe are already vying for his signature.
Inter Milan is the latest club to be linked with a bid for the Colombian international, with FC Barcelona also reportedly interested.
Interestingly, Watford have no plans to sell Asprilla, with the midfielder reportedly content to remain at Vicarage Road.
Keep. Unless a huge bid comes in, and providing he is happy to stay, build the team around Asprilla next season and sell him for a big fee next summer after he really maximises his potential.
Tom Ince is included in this list because he appears to be a name that Watford may be interested in moving on.
Despite being a starter under Valerien Ismael at first, Ince quickly fell out of favour this season, which continued under Tom Cleverley.
Despite having one season left on his contract, a move elsewhere appears to be the best option for all parties, and there are undoubtedly Championship teams who would jump at the chance to sign Ince.
Sell. Parting ways appears best and would free up some of the wage bill for another incoming.
Ashley Fletcher, another Watford player, appears to have no future with the club.
His move at Vicarage Road has been a failure, with him playing little football for the club and being continuously loaned out.
Whether on loan or permanently, he is expected to draw transfer interest this summer, as he will almost certainly leave Vicarage Road.
Sell. Let the player get on with his career and find a permanent home, rather than constantly being shipped out on loan.
