Watford are looking to strengthen Tom Cleverley’s hand heading into next season and have been drawn to Spain for an addition.
Left-sided player Frith, on the books at Valencia but playing for the club’s B team, is someone Watford want.
The 22-year-old Englishman is now the target of a contract offer from them, but they will have competition for his signing.
Frith is keen to stay in Spain with Getafe, and he has discussed life at the team with Mason Greenwood.
Earlier in his career, Frith was a member of the Chelsea and Aston Villa youth teams.
In the summer of 2023, he left for Spain to begin his career, joining Valencia and playing for their B squad.
Now Frith could be moving back to England with Watford if the Championship side are successful with their swoop.
