West Brom Two Key Players Suffered Major injuries..

The Hawthorns outfit have added yet another casualty to their list.

One of West Bromwich Albion’s most important starters has suffered an injury, and a new update indicates that he will likely miss some time.

Anyone hurt at West Brom?

Both Josh Maja and Daryl Dike are now sidelined due to injuries to their ankle ligaments and achilles, respectively, and neither player has shown any indication of improvement as their problems are long-term.

at addition to those, Jeremy Sarmiento is another player who has fallen victim to the curse of injuries. The manager has disclosed that Sarmiento will miss at least the next four weeks of action with a quadriceps issue, but he won’t be by himself at the rehabilitation centre.

It’s unfortunate that Tom Fellows replaced John Swift, the central midfielder who has been so influential, when the player hobbled off the ground after 73 minutes of Friday’s 3-1 loss to Birmingham City at St Andrews due to leg discomfort.

With a match rating of 7.16 (WhoScored – West Brom statistics), the 28-year-old has solidly established himself as the manager’s best-performing player overall in the Championship this season. Regretfully, though, the Spaniard will have to make due without his star player for a while.

Injury update on John Swift

According to West Brom’s official website, which provided an update on John Swift’s injury, the team has announced that their lucky guy will not be available for play for the next fifteen days:

John Swift has scored how many goals so far this season?
It will be devastating for Corberan to not have Swift available because in his 11 games this season at West Brom, he has recorded seven involvements, six goals, and one assist (Transfermarkt – Swift statistics). This indicates how productive he is in the final third.

The veteran, who is sponsored by Adidas, is a genuine menace to the defence of an opponent even when he isn’t scoring. This season, he has created 34 shots and 53 crosses, more than any other player on the squad (FBRef – West Brom statistics).

The £22.5k-a-week Baggies player (West Brom salaries) is also a versatile player, having played eight different positions on the pitch since the beginning of his career, including three up top and all over the midfield. Because of his adaptability, he is a great asset to the team.

Journalist Josh Bunting has praised Swift as a very “effective” ace, given everything he brings to the table. Consequently, everyone connected to the team will undoubtedly be praying for a quick recovery so he can return to the game as soon as possible.
