Since the FA officially accused West Ham star Lucas Paqueta on Thursday, a number of online investigators have declared him guilty.

Given that Paceta’s alleged spot-fixing violates the integrity of the game and represents an overt attempt by one person to influence sporting outcomes for his own financial gain or the benefit of those connected to him, it would be regarded as a far more serious type of offence.
It is significant that he has been charged under FA Rule F2, which is basically a failure to cooperate with the inquiry charge, in addition to the primary spot-fixing accusation under FA Rule E5.1.
