west ham have spoken about signing £2000m player.

David Moyes is looking to  signing a £2000 player to team.

West Ham United boss David Moyes would have preferred a more competitive start to 2024 at the London Stadium after his team drew with Sheffield United and Brighton & Hove Albion in the Premier League and lost to Bristol City in the Championship in the FA Cup.

Kalvin Phillips will join the team on loan from Manchester City with a buyout option, yet offensive reinforcements are needed due to the team’s lack of aggression.

Although the supporters of the Hammers have not yet received their wish for a move, Jarrod Bowen and Lucas Paqueta’s injuries have made the situation more urgent.

In an attempt to get Danny Ings on loan, West Ham has been poking around East London, but a winter transfer is highly doubtful given the aforementioned injuries.

Moyes seems to have shifted his focus to the offensive flanks, with FC Nordsjaelland winger Ibrahim Osman being scouted for £15 million and Portuguese sensation Jota also on the radar, while Michail Antonio is also sidelined and is 34 in two months.

Journalist Graeme Bailey claims that Jota, who cost £25 million to sign for Al-Ittihad from Celtic last summer, is drawing the attention of the Irons. A number of other Premier League suitors have expressed interest in the player, underscoring the urgency of action at London Stadium.

Not everything is bleak and awful. With 21 games played, West Ham is four points ahead of Manchester United and five ahead of Chelsea in the Premier League. The team also won its Europa League group, which allowed them to go to the round of 16 in the continental tournament and attempt to build on their Conference League victory from the previous year.

Jota has only been able to make occasional appearances despite receiving a huge £200k-per-week compensation in Saudi Arabia. Ittihad has only been able to name eight international players in their domestic team, which has resulted in only two goals.

His accomplishments in Scotland, where he amassed 28 goals and 26 assists in 83 games before leaving for Saudi Arabia, are starkly different from this. Former Scotland manager Alex McLeish called him a “revelation” for his achievements there.

For instance, in 43 games during the previous season, the 24-year-old scored 15 goals and assisted on another 12 under former Hoops manager Ange Postecoglou.

In the 2022–23 Scottish Premiership, he scored 11 goals and provided 11 assists apiece, creating 13 great opportunities and averaging 1.9 crucial passes per contest, according to Sofascore.

Jota, who has scored 14 goals in 27 games this season, might be the ideal addition to Bowen when the free-scoring England international is selected to play up front due to his dynamism and predilection on the left wing.

In the last third of the court, Bowen usually plays in the half-spaces and glides into positions that show promise and intellect. He is also productive enough to close out sequences.

According to Jota’s former coach Joao Tralhao, his “talent is unlimited,” and West Ham might finally realise the full potential of their attacking capabilities if they go to the Premier League and form a lethal partnership with Bowen.
