A man in his 20s has been left fighting for his life after he was stabbed in the early hours of the morning in Wigan, police have said.
He was taken to hospital with serious injuries after the attack at about 04:50 BST on Ainsbrook Avenue in Charlestown, Manchester on Tuesday.
Greater Manchester Police said the man was in a life-threatening condition.
No arrests have been made as officers continued to investigate, the force added.
The police have further stated that they will leave no stone unturned in carrying out the investigation and make sure the culprits are brought to book.
