Once again, Super League weekend is approaching, and as usual, there are talking points and concerns related to each and every game.
There is plenty of excitement in Sunday’s bottom-of-the-table duel in Hull, where several teams are still searching for their first victory. While some have important decisions to make regarding team selection, those at the top want to maintain their unbeaten start. These are the questions that are weighing heavily on our minds as we anticipate the action.
Everyone undoubtedly hopes so. The director of operations and legal for the RFL predicted on Thursday that he believes there would be a lot less agitation this weekend for a variety of reasons, not the least of which being the revision to the policy on unintentional head contact following Nu Brown’s red card last Friday.
It is hoped that as the season progresses, the debate would lessen because the game is now even older in terms of the laws.
