The body of a man missing for 12 months has been found, Hampshire Constabulary has confirmed. Grant Maddocks, from Winchester, was last seen on August 5, 2023.
Police searching for the 52-year-old released CCTV showing him walking along Badger Farm Road, which was the last known sighting. On Wednesday (August 9), officers confirmed a body found as part of their search had been formally identified as Grant’s.
His family have been informed and a file will be prepared for the coroner. The death is not being treated as suspicious.
