CHRISTMAS PROJECT | PLAYERS DELIVER PRESENTS AFTER 15 YEARS’

In addition, the players and management have raised a record amount and with a bucket collection to come we have already comfortably exceeded £1,100 and are on target to reach our goal of £1,500. We are also pleased to be running the project with the Club partner charity, Cardinals in the Community.

After 15 years, the players are now expected and very welcome on the children’s wards at St Peters and the Royal Surrey County Hospitals with bag loads of games, cuddly toys (Bluey being a big favourite), nerf guns, toy dinosaurs, scarves, toy cars and football paraphernalia. We also distributed free family tickets for upcoming games in the New Year to families and staff. It is always an honour and moving to listen to children’s stories but also heart-warming to see the smiles and be told that the visits have lifted spirits and made a difference. Your donations help that to happen!

We have also taken bags of donations to the Woking Foodbank and are not finished yet.

The Project continues up to Christmas with foodbank donations being taken in the Club reception and a cash bucket collection at the club’s home game against Maidenhead on Saturday 23rd. All proceeds will be used to help families and children facing a challenging time.

Thanks again for your support.
