Wolves scored twice in added-time to record a hugely impressive 2-1 win over Tottenham in Saturday’s early kick-off in the Premier League. Gary O’Neil, speaking to TNT Sports, thought his side were worthy victors as Pablo Sarabia scored in the 91st minute before Mario Lemina’s effort ensured all three points. Ange Postecoglou’s Spurs have now lost back-to-back matches.
In the Premier League on Saturday afternoon, Wolves defeated Tottenham 2-1, and their manager, Gary O’Neill, expressed his belief that his team was the superior team.

After the victory, O’Neil commented in an interview with TNT Sports that he believed his team earned the points.

“Sitting on the sidelines, I was genuinely happy of the performance and hoped I wouldn’t have to tell the boys, ‘Well done, unfortunate today,’ because we deserved better.
“In the end, the quality we showed was one thing, but the belief to score one and then stay on the front foot to score another one, just shows how far we’ve come.”
O’Neil identified the team’s performance’s essential components as being the tactical and mental aspects of the game. He said he was pleased with “the understanding of the structure, everything looking how we wanted it to, and then the togetherness and the resilience, because they’re a good side” .
