On Match of the Day, Jermaine Jenas praised Mario Lemina as “absolutely excellent” following Wolves’ thrilling victory over Tottenham Hotspur earlier in the day.
At Molineux, Wanderers secured three crucial points against the heavyweights of North London, and the atmosphere was quite different from that of Sheffield United.
Brennan Johnson’s early goal put Wolves behind the score for the majority of the match.
However, Gary O’Neil’s team was able to win in the end. Pablo Sarabia scored the opening goal, which was quite amazing.
The home fans were ecstatic when Lemina scored the game’s winning goal in the 97th minute.
Jenas gave the midfield player some appreciation yesterday night.

Jenas was gushing about how impressed he was with Wolves’ performance last night on Match of the Day.
Spurs had a depleted side, but Wolves still had to come from behind at Molineux.
In the end, it was a deserved win, with Wolves playing some lovely football and creating a lot of chances.
Lemina was superb throughout, with Jenas saying: “Their ability to understand that moment (Sarabia’s equaliser)… it wasn’t just like oh let’s settle in and keep the point now. It was right let’s go and get the next one.
“Look at the urgency to try and take a quick free-kick. They’re on it, Spurs are having to react, one pass from Doyle. They’re at the back four, it was a brilliant run from Lemina who was absolutely excellent in that second-half.”
Lemina superb again for Wolves
What a day for Wolves fans and what a moment for Lemina to score in such fashion.
The £45,000-a-week Gabon international was just everywhere in that second-half and was superb throughout the whole game.
The 30-year-old just brings such intensity to this Wolves side. The club signed him in January for around £10 million and at this point, that is one of the best transfer deals the club has sanctioned in recent years
He has made a seismic impact since coming in and Wolves fans absolutely adore him.
