Report: Wolves set huge price tag for in-demand £50k-a-week international

Wolves are prepared to face intense interest for star man Pedro Neto as early as January, now a price tag has been set.

Pedro Neto‘s impressive form throughout 2023-24 has made him a prime target for several top Premier League sides.

Neto, who earns £50k-a-week according to Capology, has been pivotal for Wolves this campaign and currently leads the Premier League in assists.

Due to this, the list of suitors has only grown with Liverpool now said to be accompanied by Arsenal and Manchester United in holding an interest in the Portuguese international.

Now, as we approach the January transfer window, the potential asking price for Neto has been revealed, and as expected the fee would be a huge amount for Wolves.

Pedro Neto’s price tag

According to a recent TeamTalk report, Neto is set to fetch a hefty fee, if a suitor is to convince Wolves to part with him.

The asking price is reported to be as high as £60 million. A fee which would see him become Wolves’ most expensive sale of all time, no doubt funding what would likely be a series of significant incomings at the club.

Neto has long been viewed has having the potential to be a league beater for Wolves, but due to injuries, only this season has he really reached the levels many thought him capable of.

He has missed the past month though, after picking up an injury against Newcastle, however he is expected to return imminently in the next week or two.

Who is interested in Neto?

It had been reported over the past few months that Liverpool were very keen on making a move for Neto. The Reds were even said to have sent scouts to watch him in action for Portugal.

But Jurgen Klopp won’t be the only manager looking to move for Neto, with Mikel Arteta also believed to be keen on signing the winger.

Manchester United are the final European club credited with interest recently. United need a right winger as Erik ten Hag struggles to get the best out of Antony.
