Wolves Agree Terms with South African Teen star…

Wolves are taking a look at South African teen Relebohile Mofokeng on trial.

The 18-year-old Winger Mofokeng has made significant development in the past year after entering the Orlando Pirates junior system and making his way into the main squad.

Additionally, he has scored twice and earned five caps for South Africa’s under-20 team.

Mofokeng played 11 games for José Riveiro’s team, six of which were starts, and scored and assisted in only his second senior debut for Pirates. The youthful player has attracted the attention of teams around Europe.

After a successful visit of the country, reports indicate that Spain has also cast adoring looks.

In an attempt to win over club coaches, he has flown to England for a trial and will be joining the Wolves under-21 squad. The Dutch team PSV was defeated 2-1 by James Collins’ under-21 team at Molineux on Monday in the Premier League International Cup.

Lyle Foster, a striker for Burnley and a South Africa international, is another Orlando Pirates academy graduate.

Mofokeng is poised to play for Wolves, according to Riveiro, who also thinks his youth won’t prevent him from having a productive trial run.

“He’s in the UK, he’s having a trial period with Wolves,” the head coach stated.

Regarding Rele, I’m certain that he’s prepared for whatever comes next.

“It might seem early at eighteen here (in South Africa), but not for me. If you watch the current European scene, you will see that the elite teams often sign players who are 18, 19, 17, and 20 years old. to earn your initial minutes with the starting squad.

“We also need to reframe the idea of the youth: you are ready when you are ready. It makes no difference in age—18 or 28. You are prepared to perform it if you are at that level, and vice versa.

And in this instance, we are all aware of Rele’s brilliance. He now has all he needs to take advantage of this chance. We are delighted to see Rele in this circumstance, and hopefully it won’t be the last, we assure you.
