Wolves agrees £60m deal with Premier League Top club ahead of summer.

After making an impact for Gary O’Neil’s team this season, Neto has been linked to a high-profile transfer to one of the major Premier League clubs.

The 23-year-old has become a vital member of Wolves since joining the team in 2019. He has made 19 appearances in all competitions this season, scoring three goals and dishing out eleven assists.

Arsenal has shown interest in the Portuguese international, with Mikel Arteta citing Neto as a top priority in his quest to provide wing backup for Gabriel Martinelli and Bukayo Saka.
Arsenal will, however, have competition as the Evening Standard reports that Liverpool and Tottenham have been mentioned as possible bidders for Neto, joining their North London rivals in the competition to capture him this summer.

Wolves will reportedly demand at least £60 million to sign Neto this summer despite the fact that they are aware of the interest. Neto is under contract with the Molineux team until 2027.

Neto’s adaptability is a very coveted quality of his game. The youthful player can play with ease on either wing and, if necessary, can also play through the middle.

Spurs have performed admirably this year under manager Ange Postecoglou. The Australian strategist has a lot going for him, and based on his current player acquisitions, he values his players’ ability to be flexible and adaptive.

Richarlison and Son Heung-min frequently switch positions, Emerson Royal has played all over the backline, Ben Davies has alternated between center-back and left-back, Giovani Lo Celso has played as a #10 and a #6, Dejan Kulusevski is used on the wing or through the middle, and he signed Timo Werner, who can also play all over the frontline. This clearly follows a trend.

Werner was brought to Spurs on loan from RB Leipzig, though the team may decide in the summer to not make the move permanent. If they go with that, they may have little choice but to search the market for a reinforcement, and Pedro Neto is the ideal candidate.
It won’t be simple to compete with Arsenal for his signature, particularly if Tottenham isn’t qualified for the Champions League this year.

Tottenham may decide to give priority to other positions, and the asking price is a little pricier than usual. Arsenal would therefore be in a strong position to finalise a deal this summer.
