Two automobiles collided on the A60 between Worksop and Mansfield, resulting in one man’s death and five additional injuries. The event occurred on Saturday , August 03 just before 5:00 p.m. near the intersection of Broad Lane and Hodthorpe.
After being removed from the site by ambulance, a 29-year-old man passed away in a hospital. While they look into what happened, Nottinghamshire Police are pleading with any other witnesses to come forward.
The Roads Policing and Serious Collision Investigation Unit’s Detective Inspector Kate Savage stated: “This was a tragic incident and we are working hard to understand exactly what happened.” We would like to meet with any witnesses who have not yet come forward in addition to the ones we have previously spoken to.
As our investigation continues we will continue to provide the victim’s family with the support they need at this very difficult time.” Anyone with additional information should call 101 quoting incident 507 of 03 August 2024.
