The Red Dragons Claim Top Transfer Target Bid…

The Red Dragons have been connected to several players in an attempt to sign a new striker before the January transfer window ends.

However, when he ruled himself out of the running for their most recent match, Aaron Collins of Bristol Rovers looks to be one step closer to joining them.

At the Memorial Stadium, Rovers defeated Oxford United 3-1, however Collins refused to be included in the matchday squad due to concerns over his future.

According to manager Matt Taylor, Collins informed him that he wasn’t in a position to feature, and the player made this request.

He clarified, “That’s Aaron’s decision, not mine,” according to Goal.

“We are aware that a lot of work is being done behind the scenes in anticipation of potential developments during the upcoming transfer window.

He didn’t feel like he was in a position to be available for today after our conversation from yesterday.

Despite being from Wales, Collins is presently playing in a league higher than Wrexham in League Two and is reportedly eager to succeed the team led by Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney.

The former player for Newport County, Wolves, and Forest Green Rovers will not be cheap, having scored 16 goals in each of the last two seasons.
