Notts County could face a battle to keep hold of the attacker amid interest from elsewhere.
This season, Langstaff, 26, has scored 20 goals across all competitions, with 19 of those goals occurring in the league.
HITC Sport asserts Admirers include Sunderland, Wrexham, Birmingham, Derby County, and Peterborough United. Earlier this month, CoventryLive revealed that Coventry City is also monitoring his progress.
Since Langstaff has a contract with Notts County that expires in the summer of 2027, the team is not under any pressure to trade him anytime soon unless they receive an irresistible offer.
Having signed at Meadow Lane in 2022, he scored 42 goals in 48 games during the previous season, helping the Magpies and Wrexham win promotion from the National League. Since then, he has easily adjusted to life in the Football League and has continued to score goals without any issues.
The forward is currently being followed by other Football League teams, despite having played for non-league teams for the most of his career, including Gateshead and York City.
He might be able to assist Sunderland in making it into the play-offs, as they are hoping to gain promotion to the Premier League.
Following the appointment of Tony Mowbray as their new manager, Birmingham is hoping to move up the Championship table. In the meantime, Phil Parkinson’s ambitious Wrexham team is now ranked second in the fourth division table, so attracting Langstaff to the Racecourse Ground would be a major declaration of intent.
