midfielder leaves Wycombe for Scottish side.

Wycombe Wanderers have confirmed the departure of box-to-box midfielder Killian Phillips.

The 21-year-old, who played in 30 competitive games for Crystal Palace, came on loan to the Chairboys in the summer.

In his brief time at Adams Park, the young player from the Republic of Ireland made 21 starts and scored two goals.

His sole league goal came in the 2-1 home loss against Reading, but his first goal came in the FA Cup victory, 2-1 over Bradford City.

After leaving Buckinghamshire, Phillips signed with Aberdeen of the Scottish Premier League.

“Killian Phillips’ loan deal with the Chairboys has come to an end, with the Crystal Palace youngster embarking on a new loan with Aberdeen,” a brief statement from Wanderers stated.

“We appreciate KP’s tireless work in light and dark blue.”

Manager Matt Bloomfield anticipates Wycombe signing “a couple of players” before the transfer market closes on Thursday night, despite his departure.
