Wycombe Wanderers battle Salford City Oxford United and for free agent#

After parting ways with Dundalk earlier this month, Shepperd, 23, is free to choose his next move in the game.

Oxford, Salford, and Wycombe are all interested in signing him this winter for nothing, according to reporter O’Rourke on X.

Shepperd is free to choose a club at any time before the transfer window closes this evening because he is an unattached player. He is not in a hurry to find a new place to live because he can wait until after the deadline.

He could be moved to League One by Oxford and Wycombe, while Salford is still in League Two.

Shepperd began his professional career at Swansea City and advanced through the Championship team’s academy. Although he was a regular for the Swans at different youth levels, he never played for the Welsh team at the senior level.

He was signed by Brentford in 2019, and during his two years at the Gtech Community Stadium, he was a member of the London club’s B team.

After that, the former Wales youth international relocated to Ireland in order to connect with Dundalk.

Shepperd made 79 appearances across all competitions and cemented himself as the Lilywhites’ number one player. Last year, his most recent club came in fifth.

He is reportedly currently being watched by Oxford, Wycombe, and Salford while he weighs his options. He has a respectable amount of match experience for his age and would strengthen all of their goalkeeping departments.
