The tragedy happened this morning, Sunday, November 24, 2024, the same day that Storm Bert is wreaking devastation over Somerset.
Due to an accident between Agusta Bridge (Montacute) and Bunford Lane (Yeovil), the A3088 Western Relief Road is closed in both directions and traffic is backed up.
To help with the incident, service members from the Yeovil and Martock Fire Stations have been sent in.
