Yeovil murder probe continues as two remain in police

A man was discovered dead in a Yeovil flat, and two males are still being held by the police. The man died, and a murder inquiry is still ongoing.

On Sunday, June 23, at approximately 7:00 p.m., police were called to an incident in a block of apartments on Raglan Terrace. At the scene, a man was discovered to be dead.

Four persons in total were arrested following the event. Two fifty-year-old males were detained by police after being accused of killing someone.
Suspects of helping an offender included a woman in her 40s and a third male in his 50s. Since then, they have been freed, but the case is still ongoing.

Officers from the Major Crime Investigation Team are leading enquiries into the death of the man, who has not yet been formally identified, but it is thought that he is a man in his 60s. His next of kin have been contacted.

A spokesperson from Avon and Somerset Police has said: “We’d like to hear from anyone who has information which could help and who has not yet spoken with officers. Please call 101 and give the reference 5224162697.”
