Following an overturned vehicle in a mishap, a main route was closed.
A single vehicle incident involving an overturned vehicle was reported to Avon and Somerset Police on the A37 Dorchester Road between Dorchester and Yeovil.
Together with the ambulance service, officers arrived at the scene.
There haven’t been any injuries reported.
Around 11:57 a.m., a road closure was implemented between the East Coker and Ryme Intrinseca turn-offs.
There were also reports of slow traffic in the region.
At roughly 2:00 pm, the road reopened.
“We were called at 11.42am to a report that a car had overturned in a single vehicle collision on the A37 Dorchester Road, near Closworth,” an Avon and Somerset Police spokeswoman stated.
“Officers attended alongside the ambulance service and have closed the road to allow the vehicle to be recovered.
“No injuries were reported.”
A spokesperson for the South Western Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust (SWASFT) said: “We were called at 12.01pm on Monday, July 15 to an incident near Yeovil and we sent a double-crewed land ambulance to the scene.”
