Darren Moore responds to Kevin Nagle statement’

The pressure is mounting on Huddersfield Town boss Darren Moore following a run of just two wins in 14 Championship matches

Kevin Nagle’s statement to Huddersfield Town supporters was described as a “unified message right the way through the football club” by Darren Moore.

On Wednesday, Town’s owner turned to social networking platform X, formerly Twitter, to address fans’ concerns about the Terriers’ recent run of play, which has seen them win just two games in 14 games under Moore’s guidance.

Nagle, an American businessman who is expected to visit the UK next month, has admitted that recent results and performances have been unsatisfactory. He stated that he will ask “tough questions” of individuals within the club in order to discover, appraise, and fix the team’s existing problems.

The owner, on the other hand, expressed faith that the Terriers will turn things around and develop a “sustainable winning club.”

When asked about Nagle’s statement, Town manager Moore replied, “My reaction is always positive, and positive in the sense that we’re all trying extremely hard here at the football club to get things right.”

“We’re all aware that there has been a lot of change at the football club in the last two, three, four months, but we’re all extremely united.”

“We’re displaying unity and togetherness, and that comes directly from the chairman, as I’ve alluded to.” We talk every week, and he’s mentioned coming over here in January, which is fantastic and we continue to work.

“It’s never deemed a negative, it’s a positive, because it shows that the owner of the football club is as passionate as anybody else.

“Because that statement came from the very top, it clearly shows that if people thought there wasn’t a care in the world here at Huddersfield Town, then there’s his statement.”

“The clear thing I can say is that we talk every week, and we’ll talk again this week as usual.” That is a continuation going forward.

“Those are the things that I would echo on the top of that, so it shows that the message is a unified message right the way through the football club, and it’s come from the very, very top.”
