According to journalist Alan Nixon, Premier League team Crystal Palace is keeping an eye on Ipswich Town manager Kieran McKenna.

Ipswich has made an immediate impact since returning to the Championship under McKenna’s leadership.

Because of his efforts at Portman Road, McKenna has gained the interest of the Premier League.Crystal Palace have Roy Hodgson at the helm, but are thinking about who could become his long term successor.

McKenna is a name on Palace’s list and they are keeping an eye on his work at Ipswich.

An approach for a manager who has done wonders for the team since taking over would not likely be welcomed by Ipswich.

The team led by McKenna is currently in second place in the Championship standings after scoring 18 goals in their first nine league games.

The world will be watching to see if Crystal Palace, who are also interested in other managers, will contact McKenna in the future.
